HALOTHERAPY
At City Cave, we are always seeking out new and effective ways to enhance our customers' wellness experiences. That's why we are proud to offer halotherapy as an add-on to our infrared sauna experience. By adding salt to the air in the sauna, halotherapy can provide respiratory and skin health benefits, while also promoting relaxation and rejuvenation.
Halotherapy, also known as salt therapy, is a practice that involves breathing in small particles of salt to promote respiratory and skin health. In an infrared sauna, halotherapy is typically achieved by adding salt to the air, which is then heated by the sauna's infrared emitters. As the salt is heated, it releases negative ions that can help purify the air and improve air quality. Breathing in the salt particles is said to help reduce inflammation in the respiratory system, clear mucus and allergens, and promote relaxation.
We believe that halotherapy has the potential to be a valuable addition to your wellness routine, and we are excited to offer it as part of our services.
How does it work?
The halotherapy feature works by using a halogenerator to disperse dry salt particles into the air. These particles are then circulated throughout the sauna by a fan, allowing you to breathe them in as you relax in the sauna's warm and comfortable atmosphere.
Our halotherapy generator produces salt particles between 1-10 microns, distributing approximately 20ml of 3% saline aerosol.
What’s in it?
Our halotherapy treatment features 99.99% pure sodium chloride, which is pharmaceutical-grade salt. It is sourced from a natural source and processed naturally to remove all impurities, without any fillers or caking agents. This type of salt is the same as the one used in hospitals and the one used in Halotherapy research. Its purity ensures that you receive the highest quality of salt therapy during your halotherapy session, with all the potential benefits it offers for respiratory and skin health.
