Float therapy is a world-leading wellness practice where individuals float effortlessly in a large pool filled with highly concentrated epsom salt water. This private, spacious environment minimises sensory input, allowing the mind and body to achieve deep and often life-changing relaxation.

WHAT is FLOAT THERAPY LIKE?

Upon entering a float room, you lie in water heated to skin temperature, creating a sensation of weightlessness. The entire room is designed to limit light and sound, providing a serene atmosphere.

WE DON’t PUT PEOPLE IN TANKS

High performance athletes, leaders and artists have been using float tanks and extreme sensory deprivation as a means of recovery, detoxification, relaxation and unlocking creativity for many years. But many on this list, and many of us, swiped left thanks to one glaring issue… claustrophobia.

If you’re like us, the idea of being trapped inside a tiny tank filled with water is decidedly not relaxing. If anything, it’s more likely to increase anxiety and stress. Ultimately, we identified this gap and set about improving the experience, ensuring everyone can access this life-changing experience in a safe, clean, and spacious environment.

RELAXATION TIP - Box Breathing

Also known as four-square breathing, box breathing is a simple yet powerful relaxation technique that involves breathing in a rhythmic pattern to reduce stress and promote mental clarity instantly. This method is often used by our guests to start the relaxation process and ease into a restorative CAVEFLOAT™️ session. Inhale for a count of four, hold at the top for 4, Exhale for a count of 4, hold at the bottom for a count of 4 and repeat. If you’re game, progressively increase your timing to five, six and so on. It takes anywhere from a single round of fifteen seconds to enjoy the benefits. Try it now:

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I FLOAT?

The frequency of float therapy sessions depends a great deal on individual needs and goals. For general well-being and stress reduction, most of our guests book a session once or twice a month. However we also have a range of guests who opt for weekly sessions to combat chronic pain, high stress levels and a range of specific conditions.
